Ultra Star JM was declared the 2023 selection champion. This Ermitage Kalone son has the same dam as the approved stallion Requiem J&F Champblanc. It is a nicely modelled, sportive stallion who left a strong impression during the riding and jumping under the saddle. He jumps with a lot of commitment and shows a lot of scope. He is expected to follow in the footsteps of his sire.

Type :

Ultra Star JM is a modern, sportive stallion with a very beautiful top line. He has a very appealing front with a nicely shaped neck and fresh head. He has a good rectangular conformation. The hindquarter is muscled.

Legs :

The legs are nice and have much length. The stance of the legs is amply correct. The feet are amply developed.

Movements :

His walk is a little tense. His trot is sufficiently ground covering but could show slightly more impulsion. The canter is covering, with impulsion and suppleness and amply carried. He moves correct on hard ground, but a little tense.

Free jumping :

He is a little too forward during free jumping. He jumps with a very good front leg technique and with a sufficient use of his body. He shows ample power.

Riding under test riders :

He shows much willingness to work under the saddle and he gives the riders an excellent feeling. He has a good contact in his mouth. His walk is amply covering when relaxed. The trot is sufficient to good. He has a supple and pleasant canter.

Jumping under the saddle :

Ultra Star JM shows his talent and athletic power during jumping under the saddle. He shows a lot of commitment and reflexes. The front leg technique is good and the use of his body is sufficient. He swings out well. He shows good power.

Evaluation dam : Hanky Panky, °2007, 1m66 (issued in 2023)

Hanky Panky has in top form. She has a good rectangular conformation. She could have slightly longer legs. The neck could have more length and is strongly muscled. The shoulder is slooping and the withers is well-developed. The loins are strong. The legs are lean and the stance is amply correct. The feet have an ample size. She broke her leg as a three-year-old and therefore her movements could not be judged.
